Process4 phases
01

Client Discovery

Each project starts with a brand questionnaire: industry, audience, personality, competitor landscape, and color preferences. This anchors the exploration in business reality, not aesthetic preference.

02

Sketch Exploration

Hand-sketch 15-20 concepts per client, exploring symbol-based, lettermark, wordmark, and combination approaches. Present 3 refined directions with rationale tied back to the discovery findings.

03

Vector Refinement

Convert the selected direction to precise vector art in Illustrator. Test at 16px, 32px, 100px, and billboard scale. Adjust stroke weights, optical balance, and counter shapes for each size.

04

Delivery Package

Deliver a complete package: full-color, reversed, monochrome, and single-color variants. Include clear space rules, minimum size specs, color codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK, Pantone), and usage do's and don'ts.

Challenges & Solutions

Favicon Legibility

Many logos fail at 16px. Designed each mark with a simplified 'favicon variant' that removes detail and increases contrast, ensuring brand recognition in browser tabs and app icons.

Embroidery Constraints

Several clients needed logos embroidered on uniforms. Simplified designs to 3-color maximums, removed gradients, and adjusted stroke widths to meet embroidery machine limitations.
